PXC
2023-now

intro
PlatformX Communications (PXC) is an independent wholesale telecoms platform, formerly known as TalkTalk Wholesale Services, operating within the B2B sector. Since relaunching in 2024, the business has been focused on establishing a stronger brand presence within the industry.
As their in-house designer, my role has been varied, covering everything from campaigns and events, product collateral, motion, and day-to-day brand communications. The three case studies below offer a snapshot of the range of work I’ve done at PXC, each of them highlighting a different aspect of the role.

campaigns
something for everyone
“Something for Everyone” was a four-month campaign promoting PXC’s Cloud & Security portfolio, with a focus on its newest product bundles. As the brand was still establishing itself in the market, the challenge was to introduce something fresh whilst keeping enough familiar elements to build brand recognition.
We used oversized typography and people-led photography to move away from more typical telecoms advertising. Featuring a diverse mix of people helped reflect the different businesses PXC works with, and the range of needs its Cloud products support. The campaign ran across print and digital placements in industry publications, supported by social content.

product launches
1Portal broadband
The launch of a new Broadband feature within PXC’s 1Portal required a promotional video to introduce its benefits to partners. With another campaign already running and a short turnaround, we needed to make the feature stand out without introducing a whole new layer of messaging.
I helped develop the script before taking the lead on storyboarding and animating. The video was structured around four key elements: the main message, product features and demo, industry testimonials, and a call to action. The final rollout included the long-form promo, a short teaser, and three supporting, more technical how-to videos, alongside a small set of event materials.

events
Connected Britain
Connected Britain is a major industry event that PXC attends every year, usually requiring a new stand design and supporting promotional assets for each edition. The work shown here is from 2025, when PXC shared its stand with partner PacketFront. Giving both brands enough presence whilst keeping the overall space clear, consistent, and impactful meant balancing different stakeholder expectations and carefully considering how the two identities worked together. This required careful consideration of layout, and how photography and content was distributed across the stand.
Across different editions of Connected Britain, my work has covered everything from stand design, printed brochures and flyers, social media content, slide decks, short videos, drinks labels, and email banners.
